About

Welcome to Vardela, a collection of handcrafted sterling silver jewelry created for those who see jewelry as more than an accessory, but as a form of self-expression.

Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in my Montreal studio, where I blend contemporary design with traditional metalsmithing techniques. Inspired by organic forms, texture, and the beauty of individuality, I create jewelry that feels both sculptural and effortless, pieces meant to be worn, lived in, and treasured over time.

The name Vardela was born from pieces of a personal story, bringing together a connection to my family and a name my mother once dreamed of giving me. It represents both where I come from and the freedom to create something entirely my own, a sentiment that lives at the heart of every piece I make.

My jewelry journey began through fashion design, where I first discovered my love for form, detail, and the art of creating. A single moment changed the direction of my path when I received a beautiful Lapis Lazuli sterling silver ring. That piece sparked a fascination with metalsmithing, leading me to explore the craft of shaping metal by hand.

As a self-taught jeweler, every piece is created with intention, patience, and a deep appreciation for the process. From the first sketch to the final polish, each creation carries a part of the maker behind it.

Vardela is built on the belief that jewelry should hold meaning, not only in the way it looks, but in the way it makes you feel.

Thank you for being here and for supporting independent craftsmanship. I hope each piece brings you the same joy and connection that I feel while creating it. 💛 xx
